Sydney Park
A very eventful lockdown park session. I will never forget it, for many reasons.
We decided to visit Sydney Park for our 1 hr sanity session. We loaded up the pups, into the boot (don’t fret, we have upgraded the yaris to an MX5) and off we went. Darcey insisted on an instant slide session and Mel walked the pups. Was super impressed as Darcey climbed up the tallest slide. Could have taken the stairs, by far the easiest root.. but no…. let’s give dad a heart attack, and climb the front facing rock part. She nailed it!
Boyed by her achievements we had to find mum and pups. We found em, and all the frenchies. Mabel and wazza were in there element. Free and frenching. So nice to see em playing with other pups.
We grabbed some food, sat down and people watched. Darcey played in the sand pit and then a swing session. Such a lovely day… and then it happened. The moment every parent dreads. We lost Darcey. Or i should say, i lost darcey. With the queues, pups and getting an ice cream, i managed to lose sight of her. Thankfully Mel’s quick thinking, retracing our steps, she found her wandering with a melted ice cream, crying out for mum. I was so relieved. Will never let this happen again and may apple tag Miss Darcey in future.
