The Birthday

Sunday was a jam packed extravaganza of birthday fun, lots of presents and cake. This is the third year, or part 3 of the joint Jackson bday celebrations.

As per usual, Miss Darcey was up early and so excited when she saw her stash. So much so, she couldn’t wait for mummy and got stuck in. Darcey loved her Peppa Pig balloons, and enjoyed her gifts from Nana and Uncle Peter. She did well, a trampoline, sandwich shop and doctors kit. I was really excited about the kids camera :-). Not forgetting Mel, the other B’day gal, she also got showered with gifts, including a charm, some cash, a voucher and some frenchie stuff.

Darcey naturally wanted cake at 7am, but we had ordered in a delicious breakfast. Thankfully we talked her out of it.

We had lots of play and then headed for Sydney Park, for swings, slides and ice cream. Was a lovely sunny day. Darcey did her usual thing of telling off of kids who got too close, and wanted to use the slide. She can definitely handle herself. After lots of fun and a big nap, we tucked into Mels delicious Peppa Pig cake.
