New Years Eve

Having had such a good time, we decided to stay another day and celebrate New Year’s with our friends.

Since having Darcey, it’s very rare that we’re actually up for the countdown, so celebrating new year’s early, during the day, in a pool with friends was right up our street. Plus, it was gona be a scorcher of a day.

Darcey as always was in the pool 24/7. Mel started talking about the possibility of getting a pool despite our relatively small back yard. Can defiantly see the benefit of one. Bubbs was getting more and more confident, and on the final day was leaping off into the pool to Aunty Claire. Reckon if we were staying another week, she would be almost swimming. Elle and Neve have been amazing, always helping Darcey and allowing her to have a blast. Me and Blake played Star Wars in the pool, always fun. Such a lovely final day, only downside was having to pack for our drive home the next day.

Always love my time down Melbourne and Mel’s friends are just amazing. Maybe we should consider moving? Who knows what the future will bring?
